Sophie Turner is having fun in all the right places right now. On a stereotypically British hen do in Alicante, Spain, the actor posed for photos with her friends on a series of debauched nights out, complete with fluffy deeley-boppers and Aperol on tap. Sophie’s most notable accessory, however, came in the form of her newly blonde hair.
While Sophie has been a redhead for years now, experimenting with versions of the shade including deep auburn, cherry red, strawberry blonde and fiery copper, in her holiday pictures her hair is buttery blonde. A perfect look for the summer months, Sophie’s flaxen locks complement the Game of Thrones star’s alabaster skin tone.
The new colour comes as Turner is set to appear as notorious jewel thief Joan Hannington in the forthcoming TV show, Joan. (She recently shared a promo picture on Instagram that finds her sporting a harsh platinum blonde bob – complete with dramatic roots – and striking cut-crease eyeshadow.) While life is rarely a barrel of laughs for criminal masterminds, these hen party snaps suggest that in the case of Sophie herself, blondes really do have more fun.
